Japanese games on European 3DS

Hi, I'm going to Japan in about 2 weeks, and I was considering buying the new Super Smash for 3DS when I'm there. Will that game work on my European 3DS?

Smea said that it may be possible to circumvent the region lock bs with his exploit, but he didn't release it yet. Would be best not to upgrade your firmware for the time being.

 

I don't really play many games for gameplay anymore honestly. I play most games just for the graphics.
