I have inserted 16gb SD card onto my phone, & when I connect it via USB on my PC nothing happens & I can't put my songs in my phone. Can anyone help me?

1. Check if your cable supports media transfer.

2. Check if your cable is dead.

3. Find your device under installed devices and erase it.

1. How do I check it?

2. I tested 3 cables, non of them make phone visible in my PC, however they charge the phone when connected.

3. In device manager? I don't know which one is it...

What drivers?

The HTC drivers. MTP wasn'T a thing in 2009, so most manufacturers made their own thing in terms of transfer protocols. Drivers can be found here: http://www.htc.com/uk/software/htc-sync/
