1440p

THE-FUZZ15

I'm just wondering if there's anyone here who plays the latest games in 1440p and gets 100hz+, if so what gear are you using? Or is it even possible at the moment?

Not a single component from that list is suitable for a gamer.

I'm running a r290 at 2560x1080 and get pretty good performance so two r290x's should be able to get 100 at 1440p.

My Build

Still wanted to add it in. Better than lag spikes caused by a shitty HDD right? I had the problem I had with my rig until I got an 840 EVO.

It's possible, but I don't get framerates like that in games like BF4. in games that are a few years old I do though. Dual 780s or 290s would be ideal.

It's a pretty massive difference. I was amazed when I switched to 1440p.

Metro 2033 redux comes really close to the 3gb vram on mine :( I probably wouldn't recommend my card to many people anymore at > 1080

It's supposed to come close. It doesn't mean that cards are nearly running out of vram. Also take a look at this:

Ah idk, I get constant CTD with redux and I check vram usage and its licking the 3gb limit. Possibly unrelated I suppose but only thing I could come up with xD

Hmm, should not be a vram issue though.
