1st build need advice

1. Budget & Location
$2000-$3500 US (can go over a little)

2. Aim
graphic design and video editing (using most programs found in adobe creative cloud)

3. Monitors
1 for now but more in the future

4. Peripherals
i have keyboards, mice, and monitors. will run Windows.

I have 2 different ideas for the build.

Both will have the 4 3TB hard drives in a raid 10

it will need to last for 5+ years but will upgrade some down the line.

Both look good.

Although I'd ditch the 900D and get something like a R4 or H440 (obvs need to chance cpu cooler to H100/H105 for R4)

900D will look ridiculous with those parts.

in the end the 4 3TB will only be 6TB and i will have lots of big video files. I think i have a idea of how big it is but will see.

Whats the point in getting the 2 1TB Drives? If you really need more, why not just get more 4TB too add on to the raid away?

 

And your spending more on your Storage, then on your GPU...

Only thing i would change is the case to something else, like a H440 or Phantom 530 or 820.

I was going with the 900D because of all the hard drives I have and I might have a few more down the road so there's plenty a room for them
