so I have come down to two laptops for school and work ,these are NOT for gaming (I have a desktop for that)  and I am wondering if I should get this u430 http://goo.gl/hD7DfO or the lenovo thinkpad t440 off of lenovos sit, both are very good laptop but the thinkpad has both an internal AND external battery plus two m.2 slots  the only down side is the screen might be shit and its about 220 more.

so thoughts ?

Thinkpad is more meant for carrying around, office work, school work, etc

Ideapad is more meant for being a multimedia/entertainment laptop that stays at home unless you actually need it

so thinkpad ?

Yeah if you're going to be taking it around a lot, Thinkpad. Thinkpads also are generally more upgrade friendly and capable. In this case the M.2 slot(s) can be really nice to have in the near future

thanks sounds good, I have had enough of a bad experiance with cheap laptops anyhow
