Building experiences like Minecraft

I am in the search of a game that offers a building experience such as minecraft. 'a game where you can mine, build, level up, customize, etc'. I'm talking about good graphics too :P.

I'm talking about a game on par with the level of minecraft. I remember minecraft in 2010, I was in a excellent server with around 50 people and it was quite fun, we built stuff together, had stories of why people hated each other for various reasons, despite of the good and bad, it was a solid community.  Assuming there isn't anything like this atm, I might as well just try.

That doesn't make any sense but ok.

It makes perfect sense, I don't like how the game progressed, simple as that.

What do you mean by "progressed"?

What it basically turned into? Lmao.. The game is just packed full of dumb stuff now with all these potions and stupid mobs, other stuff too now that I cannot be bothered getting a list.

The great thing about their "new" launcher is the ability to easily switch between the most recent version, or every version between pre alpha and now.

Much of me agrees with you, I don't like where Minecraft has gone since about 1.0, being a mid-alpha adopter, I find myself often playing on alpha and beta builds.

Even if I did run an older version I doubt there would be any populated servers or bug fixes from today, it still wouldnt be the same thing.

There are servers depending on what version, and singleplayer is still fun

Just run an older version. They literally give you the option to do that in the launcher

Survival Single Player...?

One thing you have to realize... all the other minecraft-esque sandbox, building, fighting games out there, direct clones or not are infested by the same minecraft community that now inhabits the game(s). You can't find servers like the days of old... not unless it's owned by you, or someone like-minded that isn't afraid to cast out the rubbish.

The game will never be what it was for us early adopters.... doesn't mean we can't still enjoy older builds.

Have you tried playing with Mods before or using Plugins to change how the game is played? Maybe you're just tired of Vanilla Minecraft. Some of the complaints I've seen you make about the games current state can be changed with either one of the options I suggested above.
