My friend installed a new fx 6300 in his system he had a fx 4300 before, I installed it correctly but when I try to boot I get to post and then it just keeps restarting in a loop. I got to the desktop a few times but when I did, it just restarted again. His mobo is a Gigabyte GA-78lmt rev 4.1, the BIOS version is f4 and the date of it is 10/19/2012. I ran CPU z and it detects that as the latest BIOS, also checked the Gigabyte website and the latest update is the one i currently have, any ideas?

I had the same issue but with some different parts, im assuming he has 2 ram dimms, are they next to eachother in slots 1 and 3 or is there an empty space between each dimm in slots 1 and 2?
