I keep getting ads opening in another tab when I click on things such as link to a website or even just navigating this forum. I also noticed that my SSD has way more space then it did last time I checked. When I open the SSD there are files that have been whited out.

If anyone has any solutions that would be great, thanks.

I've tried to put screenshots on here but it isn't working. I try again later this afternoon.

Those greyed out ones are hidden files that you have chosen to see. That is all.

About 1,166 viruses are created every month and most of them are unknown and too complex for an antivirus to keep up.You can't usually fix this kind of problems if the virus is not known.

ps:those are just some hidden files...

Thanks for the help. But that doesn't explain how my ssd that had 15gb free space now has 4gb free space

I have this sometimes not 10gb but something 3-5gb its just temp files / page file. I use ccleaner and it gets rid of temp files.

Install Avast to protect you from Viruses. I use it on every PC and it always blocks dangerous sites.

If you have multiple storage devices, and keep your Recycling Bin on your C:/ drive, you could delete 30GB and it gets sent to your C:/ drive, and that could explain how it filled up.
