Program for differing audio to different devices

while Gaming I like to play music on my headphones

Does a program exist that would allow me to put Music through my headphones, and Gameplay audio through my Speakers, or vice versa?

which music software are you using?

 

you could probably set your default audio device to your speakers, and your music software to your headphones depending on your software

currently using media monkey but not hugely invested

Yep, do-able, just tried this before posting.

 

Headphone = external DAC = default audio device = game sound

Speaker = onboard audio = set audio output in foobar2k (free) setting to onboard = music

Test played one round of online FPS, no lag whatsoever. I expected some lags, but turned out no lags that I can feel....
