I originally had one but I dropped it so I could get more performance out of the other hardware

Because he had a hard drive.

MSI H97 Gaming 3 or Asrock H97 Fatal1ty Performance, although it's 4 in the rear, not front

Get an ssd. It will make a world of difference, especially when working with larger projects. Drop the Hyper 212 EVO if necessary. It is nice to have but not really needed.

The PC Mate has 2xUSB 3.0 on the back and a 2xUSB 3.0 header for the two ports on the front of the case. ASRock H97 PRO4 & ASRock H97 PERFORMANCE are the same price and have 4xUSB 3.0 on the back i/o panel and a 2xUSB 3.0 header for the case ports.

How does it look now?

*Edit*

I am at school curently, so I don't have a lot of time to look for a SSD.  I would to see about a HHSD instead of both/only a SSD or/with HHD.

Because he had a hard drive.

An SSHD is not the best of solutions. Reasonably priced 120GB+ ssd include Sandisk SDSSDHP-128G-G25, PNY SSD9SC120GMDF-RB, Transcend TS128GSSD340, Mushkin MKNSSDCR120GB, and Mushkin MKNSSDCR120GB-7. They may not be the best performers but it will be way better than an hdd or even an sshd.
