Asus X99-E WS a paper launch?

Out of 15 etailers in Norway, not one has it in stock, and looking at Newegg Business (US) they don't have any either.

 

What's going on?

 

This is the board I am set on, no X99-E WS, no X99.

It seems only a select few x99 boards are available to the public at the moment, give it a few weeks and it should (hopefully) be available

heard asus is having issues due to having extra pins for cpu support & intel is refusing to cover this with the warranty issues.. might wanna look into that before the buy.

I heard ASUS would honor any warranty of Intel chips due to it, I just hope they don't recall boards leaving me to wait 6 months for a motherboard, honestly if not for the X99-E WS I wouldn't be interested in X99, at least not on the new market.
