Any comments on this build before I pull the trigger? Im putting it together in an Xbox 360 case hence the pico psu.

I would get a pentium g3258 and a tiny heatsink but thats just me. (also a overclockable h97 board) btw sounds like a cool build you doin a build log

Will the Pentium preform just as well? And I have taken some pictures so I may just upload everything when its complete.

Get an r9 270 if possible and a low end i5. Not much else to say

But the r9 would singlehandedly draw 150w or so. Plus all the other shit, the PicoPsu would nlt be enough.

So I looked up AnandTechs review and overclocking and I'm not sure the Pentium is worth the 25 dollar difference (45 diffrence - 20 for a h97 board)
