Burnt out on FPS?

i might just be burnt out on fps games. whats a genre/game you could reccomend(best if free) that is action packed and fast but not a first person shooter?

 

genres i do NOT want:

-moba

-RPGs,MMORPGs

-racing

-sport

-rts

Why are you close minded about other genres? Is it because games like sc2 and dota2 have a steep learning curve? Or is it the fact that there's too many elitists? Honestly, that's why I enjoy these types of games.

 

In regards to racing games; I agree, they can be pretty mundane.

As for mmo's, there's only one worth playing once the new expansion comes out. That would be WoW:WoD

 

My advise is to try something out of your comfort zone; ie, LoL, Dota2, diablo 3, and possibly sc2. FPS games can get extremely dull after a while and that's why you're burnt out.

The thing is I have tried. I didnt write off a single genre w/o trying I gave all of them a chance.

 

-moba - played lol, dota2 and smite but i only played em cuz my friends played em i personally didnt like the gameplay

-RPGs,MMORPGs - all the RPGs start out so goddamn slow and i hate doing quest after quest after quest, too much of a drag and you have to grind a lot which i HATE

-racing - not into racing, just not into car games dont know how to further explain it

-sport - hate sport games, would rather play the sport in real life lol

-rts - too dumb for rts and the matches take way too long, the genre that im the worst at no doubt

C9 is an MMORPG, but it doesn't play like most other RPGs. It's F2P, not P2W, and it's much faster paced than pretty much any MMORPG that I can think of, right from the start.

Warframe's (F2P, not P2W) pretty good, although still a shooter, it's a 3rd person shooter. Not quite as fast paced as most, but still fun imo.

 

Sleeping Dogs is one of the best action type games I know, that one you have to pay for though.

Darksiders series, still pretty combat based, and fun. Again, have to pay for though.

Bullet hell, if you can handle it. You know, a proper shooting game.

 

All that really leaves is Third-Person Shooters and Trading Card Games.

Kidding, right?

Wasn't at the time, completely drew a blank on other genres of games.

Even puzzle games can be extremely demanding. There's tons of stuff out there that isn't a FPS.

 

Never seen this one?
