Any suggestions for a budget ITX board and cpu that can eventually be switched out for a broadwell chip later. Thanks :)

Oh, when does broadwell come out? And How much better CPU for $260 compared to the 4690k? Because I'm thinking of upgrading from my FX 8320 now to that i5...

Supposedly some time early next year. As for your question..is there a way you can rephrase it so I understand? I'm a little bit confused. xD

Sorry, I have bad english. How much better will the new broadwell CPU from Intel be than the current $260 I5 4690k, I'm thinking about upgrading from my FX 8320 which bottlenecked my 2 7950s in BF4. Also is this a good PC part picker list? http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/zRfpmG Is there any better mobo for around the same price? Sorry for stealing OPs thread :P

Nah I just get confused easily.

Every time Intel releases a new CPU it performs about 10% better than the previous generation.

For the same price there's the GA-Z97X-UD3H or $10 more you can get the MSI Z97-G55 SLI.

I had the G55 sli in PC part picker, also isn't that Gigabyte worse?

halp me please :P

I'd wait for broad well instead of buying the i5

Broadwell is going to be LGA 1150 and run on the Z97 chipset the same that Haswell Refresh does.

Thanks

Meant the PLUS board or whatever it was, I derped. Gigabyte boards with the Ultra Durable branding are fine, they don't break all that often.

can you send a link? Also is it better than that MSI one? also whats the best mobo for that price range give or take $20 as I'm already over budget...

Also:

Is it a better idea to get better mobo for FX 8320 (currently bottlenecking 2 7950s in bf4 63% usage or it may be the crappy asrock 970 extreme 3 R2.0 mobo...)or get a good mobo for i5 for $20 more if I choose i5 option?

I don't knooooooow. Motherboards are motherboards. Damn near all of the Z97 ones from ASUS, ASRock, Gigabyte, EVGA, etc. work out of the box. Just pick one that has the features you need, the color(s) you like, and the amount that you can spend.
