I need A case and PSU

Go to solution Solved by ForsakenLive,

But i dont like how the case looks... Can you help me or find me a cool looking one....

It's not about the looks, it's about the internal layout and materials used. It can look good, but if you can barely cable manage, can't keep the case properly clean (lack of dust filters/ needed removal weak plastic front panel), can't fit everything nice and easy, can't install larger air coolers, and can't add proper cooling (case fans etc) then it's a crappy case, not to mention proper build quality on front panel connectors and construction, and loose rivets/screws/panels that vibrate when the PC is on.

I don't know how that Cougar case is, it might be actually good, but by the looks of it, it's a typical low end case with all problems listed above, and it seems to only have room for 1 120mm fan on the front, you should aim for 2.

Usually, for budget ATX builds I recommend the Source series from NZXT which are pretty nice. The Source 220 and Elite 210 are pretty impressive, decent quality, with many features and very sleek looks. If you want something more flashy you can check the Corsair 230T, Corsair Spec 01 and Spec 02.

Cougar are good with fans, not much else.

The Corsair CS500M would probably be the best PSU choice, decent quality and fairly low cost.

Can you link your preferred retailers website? Will be easier finding you a case that way. And perhaps defining "cool" would be helpful.

I think the top three budget friendly ATX cases I would recommend are the Corsair SPEC-01 (Also a 02 & 03), Bitfenix NEOS and Cooler Master N400 (N600 is a little bit more and a has a window if you want that).
