PSU Testing

I ordered my PSU before the rest of my system parts so I could sleeve it and build my system at the end of the summer. My plans have changed however and I would like to test my PSU without the rest of the system just to make sure it turns on. My only question is would this have any adverse affect on it. PSU is found here.
