Which of these two is better ? I currently have a 1 TB HDD and I prefer an upgrade since there occurs a lot of mouse pointer lag and other small issues suddenly after boot. I think an SSD will solve it. Thanks.

I checked 840 Pro but at that price only 128 GB model is available.

Personally I'd go for the SanDisk. The 520 is faster but the SanDisk is rated to last longer (2,000,000 hours for the SanDisk vs 1,200,000 hours for the 520 but that doesn't really matter. Both are rated to last longer than a lifetime anyway) and has more space.

That's the SSD i was taking about, almost everyone agrees it's the best SSD out at the moment.

That would depend on budget. If you enough money left over for the Samsung SSD then I'd get that, if your budget is a bit tight then the SanDisk would be the better option.

The Samsung drive is one of the fastest SSD's (excluding PCI SSDs, M.2 SSDs and SSDs in RAID) on the market

My budget is around Rs 10000. But then what about 840 Pro ? Does it perform better ? Cuz it appears more costly.

If no other options come then I would definitely get this one.

Yes, the 840 is one of the fastest SATA SDDs on the market.

Which 840 ? Pro or Evo ? Pro is more costly.

SSD endurance isn't rated in hours, they are rated in Gigs of Writes

Intel has longer warranty.
