Stuck on HDD LED

Hi,

 

My Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard is stuck on the RED HDD LED. I've hooked up the storage drives correctly, however it still displays the LED. Any help would be appreciated.

 

So the computer doesn't boot?

You already posted this in troubleshooting...

 

Still, are you sure you didn't plug in the HDD_LED to PWR_LED lead?

Well, everything turns on- But I get no display and the Boot device LED glows red.

I had this problem with my Asrock mobo. Take out ALL the USB devices (including the USB plug for the mobo) and try to then clear the CMOS and reboot. Otherwise i don't know what to do because this worked for me. If this doesn't solve your problem i would reccomend contacing Asus or the technical department at the store you bought it from.

Like I stated before, did you turn the monitor off and on? is it connected properly?

 

If that led is lit the pc is at the overclock failed/ new cpu / run setup screen.

 

When its gets there hit f1, then f10. That should get you to the bios and save and exit. If all is well it will boot like normal unless your screen isn't responding correctly.
