Hey Guys, this is Austin... no Wait -

Back to Buisness

Hi Forum,

i/we are working at the moment on a Driver Problem,

We got this Notebook:

http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/NX.MLFAA.006

Chipset: AMD A6-6310

GPU: APU R4

And we want to have a "Roll-Out" School-Wide procedure, etc etc etc.

Our Target OS is: W7 x86 Professional

Unfortunatly, Acer does ONLY provide W8 x64 Drivers for this Notebook, and we got to have W7 x86.

We got everything working except for the VGA, it gives us 3 Headaches.

Due to the Chipset, we tried serveral drivers. Amd 14.4 Catalyst, AMD 14,4 Mobile, AMD 14,6 Kaveri_6

And none gets indentified as a working Solution. On 14,4 Mobile we get "Driver Installing" -> Driver could not be installed due to platform problem.

We Expanded drivers, tried manual select etc.

Any Ideas? Our goal is not only to get it working, but also to enable it on our WDS on our server.

Any help appreciated

Yup we Tried many many things

So you downloaded both of these? These are offered for your chipset and APU and have Windows 7 x86 versions, but you said you didn't find a Windows 7 version? Also that is 14.7 beta, where are you said you downloaded 14.4 and 14.6.
