So here's the deal I haven't played minecraft in a couple months, so today i decided to boot it up and play it...CPU usage immediately spikes to 100% and every time i turn my game practically pauses and goes back to normal frames. Not a big deal you say? Well with how much you do happen to turn in Minecraft it's a really Freaking big deal. please help idk wtf to do

delete the .minecraft folder in %appdata%

then redownload the game and install the latest 1.7.10 version

Have you tried updating Java?
