ive hade my pc for a couple weeks, works great every thing was cool and decided I wanted to see what the chip had since I had one of the best cpu air coolers and went ahead. I did a quick and dirty OC to see how good the chip was and got to 4.6 at 1.275 and ran stress tests and hardware monitors and everything was good didn't blue screen so I thought great chip, but my pc crashes randomly crashes and restarts(doesn't blue screen) which is strange because it does this when I do easy stuff at random times. I was wondering if this is normal or I did something wrong thanks.

No a computer randomly restarting for no apparent reason is not normal...unless you are using an old Win SP1 disc that needed 130+ updates...then I guess it would be "normal" although you should be notified ad nauseam by Windows.

A core clock and core voltage are 2/15-25 values that are relatively important in OCing. If you could provide some screen grabs of all your BIOS settings including multipliers, voltage, and core settings that would be extremely helpful in diagnosing any problems.

Also, what benchmarking software did you use?
