Friends pc keeps crashing

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Component: AMD Northbridge
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: CRC Error
Processor ID: 0

 

CPU is a FX-6300 and it happens with his FX-8350 had the same thing.

 

we are playing csgo competitive and he gets a 7-day ban now.

 

He updated his bios recently, any one know wtf it is?

 

that was one and a half months ago, that event log, searching for new ones

He also gets Kernel Power crashes aswell.

What is the cnace of it being the RAM? he got a bug check afterwards aswell

M5A78L-M/USB3 that is his motherboard, maybe restoring the bios from the button thing could work.

most likely but you also said that he updated his bios so i would recomend going back to the last version he used 

restoring bios from button would only work if he fucked up overclocking or something an his system wont boot it wont realy help with this becaus it just reverts back to default settings nothing more

Ok, found out he has hte FX-4XXX series not the 6000 series... anyways, i will try to see how to fix it.
