Total overkill on the motherboard. You can go much stronger on the graphics card instead, give me a moment to update your build.

This is $32 over but gives quite a bit more performance, better case (also cheaper), better PSU, better memory and not as much overkill on the motherboard.

Isn't the motherboard I selected better for when I want to have 2 videocards in the future? I think I will want to upgrade in the future!

This motherboard is fine as long as you plan to Crossfire with AMD since that is still supported by this motherboard.

This motherboard is fine as long as you plan to Crossfire with AMD since that is still supported by this motherboard.

I see u live in the netherlands, at the alternate shop you get a free mouse worth 30 euro, and 30 euro cash back if you buy an i5 aswell.. Isnt that a good deal?

Just saw the deal. I'm also seeing a €45 cashback when buying a selected intel CPU and an MSI gaming motherboard. Try to find out whether the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 with the I5-4690k falls under that. If it does, go with this combo.

It does, but it gives 30 euro instead of 45. You get the 45 with an i7.

 

So now that I know this i will definiately (or something) get the i5 + that msi mobo. I think ill get the r9 280 non x version to save some more money and maybe upgrade later. what do you think?

The 280X is only marginally more expensive than the 280 non-x so I would just go with the 280x.
