Core clock - Which 280X?

When paired with a non-OCed i5-4670K and playing @ 1080p, what would be the fps difference between a 280X with clock speeds of (850MHz/1000MHz) versus (1000MHz/1100MHz)?

 

Ambient here is kinda high @ 30C, sometimes higher so this might limit the ability to boost the clock.

I'd wait a week or two cause R9 285 is coming out on the 2nd it's supposed to be starting at $249.99 look at benchmarks for it cause that's also the date NDA's are undone then check and see you might wanna get it. Otherwise look at Sapphires Toxic or Gigabytes Windforce each are very good. with the Toxic being better but only marginally cause it's still only a 280x

Yeah I did but I cant see the answer to how much of a difference will there be between a (850/1000) vs (1000/1100) 280X.

You should get around 5-8 FPS more in average going from 850MHz on core to 1100MHz

The 280x windforce is very loud so I was considering the XFX 280x for a quieter system but for 5 FPS more, fuck the noise! I'll go with the windforce 280x.
