As you can see, I bought my graphics card for 50 dollars. It was my friend's and it was used for a while. I bought it because it was a great deal for a nice graphics card, I spent the rest of my budget into some other parts so I didn't need to upgrade them in the future.
I think I am about ready to upgrade my GPU because some of the games I want to play can't be played well like Assassins Creed 3 and 4. I would also like to play future games like the upcoming Shadow of Mordor :D
I have always played my games on low for performance over graphics but ever since I built my new computer I feel like I want to actually enjoy the look of my games for once(and obviously higher performance).

tl;dr I have a Sapphire HD 6850 and am looking for another GPU to replace it for 1080p gaming. At first I was looking at the R9 270 or 270x, but I am open for suggestion. Budget: under 200 preferably. I also posted the part list so I can ask about compatibility :x

Thank you in advance for your help :D

r9 270 or r9 270x

It's basically a 7870 but these have a bit better coolers. It will give you nice frames too. The extra VRAM will be worth it for 1080p too.

I get 60 frames at 1080p on a dual core APU. Ask me how.

AMD FX 8350 CPU / R9 280X GPU / Asus M5A97 LE R 2.0 motherboard / 8GB Kingston HyperX Blue 1600 RAM / 128G OCZ Vertex 4 SSD / 256G Crucial SSD / 2T WD Black HDD / 1T Seagate Barracude HDD / Antec Earthwatts 650W PSU / Coolermaster HAF 922 Case

You should be able to get a GTX 660 or 7870/270x for that price. If you want to buy used then you can for sure get a 7950 or 670 if you're lucky.

R9 270X Best for that budget

R9 270X, I guess would be the best card for that budget.

After watching this

I was thinking of getting an R9 270, but if I don't overclock will the R9 270X beat it by quite a bit? And if I do wish to overclock in the future, will it have room to overclock(The 270 seemed to beat it in the overclocking part thats why)?

If there's not much of a price difference then get the 270X. If the price difference is like $50 then get the cheaper one.
