I decided that I am going to need a wireless adapter for my upcoming computer, so what would be the best one for $25 or under? I was considering this one, but wanted to get other people's opinion. A USB adapter would be preferable.

USB adapters will work fine, but they are prone to more issues. Really, you should get a WiFi NIC for your PC, which will cost more, but work a lot better. That being said, both are "you get what you payed for"

I have the N600 version of that card. Depending on the distance from the router (and other factors), it should work pretty well.

Yep, N600, or N900 are much better options. It'll do fine though, again, you get what you pay for. That being said, going past $50 on a WiFi NIC is a hard sell. Usually I suggest in the $30-$50 range

I'd lean towards a USB adapter. All things considered the performance will probably be about the same especially for ones upto N600. Plus they're usually cheaper, don't take up space and look ugly inside your PC and you can much more easily move them between machines if you have to.

It's small things like these that are hard choices lol. I am actually only about 10-15 ft. from the router, however, if I were to use an Ethernet cable it would go across a hallway and under or over my door. It just wouldn't look good. But I guess I will lean more towards the PCI adapter. Thanks for all the help as usual, love these forums.
