I was watcxhing one of linus videos and he said something about the kingston v300 new flash is not good? what is he talking about?

they switched to async flash, which reduced the incompressible speeds by almost two fold (drops to like 200mb/s read and 75mb/s write)..

What is the best cheepest 120gb ssd? I was looking at the mushkin chronos..

they changed the controller, which halved the speed.

Nope. Controller is the same, flash is different.

M500, MX100, evo

Or shell a few buck more and get mx100 256Gig.
