How do I uninstall

programs on windows 8.1? I just can't figure out how. My laptop came with some McAfee crap preinstalled and for the life of me I can't find out where the menu to uninstall it is.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Either download Ccleaner to do it or you can use the search pane (bottom right then you see a search icon) and then type uninstall there. It should show up.

Control panel>Programs>Remove a program

 

Yeah, not sure how this can be so hard :D

I feel you, when I first installed W8 it took me 20 minutes to find the non-Alt+F4 way to shut it down.

i had to google it.. sometimes i just fail
