Hi, I made a topic about the PC I would like to build the following weeks: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/202574-first-gaming-pc-build-budget-710/

But I wanted to make better research about my case and PSU.

I have two cases to choose between: Corsair Carbide 200R or Cooler Master N600, I love both cases, but the problem is that 200R lacks a lot of filters, front I/O is limited, and other cosmetic problems, although it has great cooling potential for such cheap case.

For the PSU I wanted to get Corsair VS650, but someone said it's an overkill for my build and he advised me to come here and get better ideas for PSU. If someone has any ideas, be sure to let me know. Thanks in advance. :)

i vote for the n600 and cx500m.

@EnderDogeBlaze

Agreed on the N600 but disagree on the CX500M. The CX series are a bit meh, the CS550M would be a much better choice and give headroom for more devices/OC'ing.

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

Guys, thanks for the great replies, but the selection of any PC components and peripherals are very limited in Bulgaria so only the VS,CX,RM and AX series are available, I don't mind going for Cooler Master PSU but they are very limited too and these which are available are higher end, ofcourse there are EVGA or Seasonic PSU's but they are high end too, so I may stick for the VS series. For the case, I'm surely going for N600. :)

That is incorrect the CX is outclassed by the CX in every aspect besides price.

-snip-

agree on the g 360.

vs < cx < cs

very cheap < a little more expensive < much more expensive

not that great quality < decent quality < better quality

OP you only need 360w, something like the Seasonic G 360. Case IMHO is ultimately your choice. We can say all we want but these days its mainly aesthetics, most cases have fairly good ventilation and other fancy features.

I think he is talking about this vs series:

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/power-supply-units/vs-series

They are not even 80+ certified so it is much better to go with the cx series. Especially the modular ones.

Main PC:

ASUS F1A55-M LX, AMD A6-3500, (2x2)gb Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 1600mhz, Seagate Barracuda 500gb 7200rpm,
Corsair CX430M, Cooler Master Elite 343, Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit

Netbook:

Lenovo Ideapad S10-2, Intel Atom N280, (1x1)gb DDR2 667mhz, WD Scorpio Blue 250gb 5400rpm, Zorin OS 9 Lite
