So I'm new to the whole pc building thing and was wondering if someone could reveiw the parts that I have chosen for my build. My budget is $US 1,300 and is aimed to be a gaming pc meant to handle games like DayZ, Planetside 2, and possibly Far Cry 3. Thank you to anyone who replies.

These are the two builds I've come down to and was wondering if the extra $200 difference between these two is worth it. Special thanks to Cokeman and brob for these two builds.

First off all non K cpu is a no. Second of all that is a ATX motherboard and that is a mini tower case your motherboard will not fit. Get the 450D same case but for a ATX motherboard. And black drives are a waste get a blue.

First off K cpu are a wast of money if you AREN'T OVERCLOCKING! Second of all That is a micro atx mobo in a micro atx case. Third unless he is on a budget and cant afford it a Black Drive is a great choice.

A few suggestions. Get an unlocked processor to go with the overclocking motherboard. But get a newer generation, z97 motherboard. Go for a less expensive hdd and put the savings towards an ssd - makes a bigger contribution to performance than the Black. Go for a better gpu. Get a better psu. Don't bother spending all that money on aftermarket fans. They can easily be added later. Get an IPS monitor - better colors and viewing angles.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
