It changed!

 

It was always a casual black color, now it has a 'shadow' it seems, and more dark blue-ish.

 

Of course it has to be up to date to get this new icon I suppose.

yea the whole theme changed beginning of the week. The logo is the same one used on the steam music beta and other things.

At least they are doing it right.

 

Not like Google's radical and frequent changes of the Youtube layout.

It was a very subtle and good change. Everything is just cleaner, sharper, and brighter. The GUI is also much quicker than before. I noticed that and the font before anything.

probably. Check for client updates. best giveawat is the ble tinge in the top left corner of all the windows and the new icon.

Updated Steam and now the UI is clean and blue, but the desktop icon has stayed the same. Will delete and redo it though. See if that works.

 

Edit: Reattached, still the same one but in the folder it's the new icon. *shrug* Okay then.
