ASUS Z97-AR?

Hello all. I am wondering if the ASUS Z97-A is the newer version of the Z97-AR.

You will be more happy with the AR, the A is pretty much noctua themed

AR has no VGA or DVI.  Almost identical though.

Yes, except it doesn't have a VGA and DVI plug.

i have it my self and i have no complaints about it i 100% recommend this board it works and looks great and the awesome asus features is a bonus and it goes with really any build color scheme

The AR is just the A but more business oriented. That was literally the only mainstream board that wasn't featured in the youtube videos with JJ.

They need an mATX version, I like that better than the pale gold of the other ones.

Wait, the board is the same but the color are differnt because im getting the a because it matches my ram and case fans

Nope, the AR just has a differen't colour scheme, it's also missing some of the video output (onboard) and it doesn't have usb bios flashback (not sure if regular "A" model does)

It was marketed towards business applications.
