I changed the SATA cable but still in the coping it drps to zero twice or more per 500 MB File and The installation is taking way too much and sometimes the HDD freeze So is it the HDD or what !?

 

P.S it's 2TB HDD "C" 300 GB and "D" 1.52 TB

Hey there,

 

I'd try the drive on a different computer to see if the problem is in it or in the MOBO. I would also advise you to check it for any bad sectors or any other errors. If the drive struggles to read/write on a certain sector that is bad for some reason it might hang on it and cause these problems. WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic and Windows CHKDSK command are two good tools for that. I'd run both the quick and the extended test of the WD DLGD.

Some other simple things you could do are checking your drive for errors from the disk properties, cleaning it with Disk Cleanup, try defragmenting it and enable Write-Caching.
