Aplhacool 280x waterblock

Go to solution Solved by Shaqo_Wyn,

yeah i mean i think they replied in a bad english because they are a german company and if you go to their page its all mixed up in english and german so i could be just the lack of knowledge of english here is how they replied

Well it does include all their contact info. It might be legit but there is no excuse for them to write you in such crap English. Basically they're telling you they don't have a version for your card and to check http://www.aquatuning.de/ for if and when they do decide to make one. I think you might be out of luck on this one. Sorry bruh. Maybe save the water cooling for when you get another GPU? Maybe a 290, 780 or from the upcoming GPU lines?

Hey everyone i was looking for a waterblock for my toxic 280x and since its a non-reference design i couldn't find anything except that alphacool is making custom waterblocks for non-reference cards by using 3D scanning technology and if you send the card you get A FREE RADIATOR!!! so i thought that its a great opportunity to send it and get watercooling but there was a problem... my parents are very sceptical about sending the card to someone sooo i came here to ask you guys if someone can send the card to alphacool so i can buy it on aquatuning.de. it would mean a world to me if someone can do it

Sounds very fishy bruh. Unless you're sending it Alphacool itself. Alphacool is a reputable company but maybe contact them directly about this offer first. Your parents shouldn't have a problem sending the card to a reputable company right?

yeah you need to ship them the card they scan it which takes about 10-20 days and they ship you back with everything in the box, they say they are offering radiator for the first people that send the specific card, and i emailed them and they said in a very bad english that they didint have requests for toxic 280x. like my parents know who alphacool is LOL

So they replied in bad English? Sounds like a scam to me. However, I do see what your talking about mentioned on their website. http://www.alphacool.com/shop_content.php/coID/58/content/Send-it-and-get-one-cooler-for-free

I dunno meng, this still seems fishy.

Uh...no...

That's not a concept. You need to have a supported card that fits the block. I was looking at this all night.

Ahh, I see. I don't know why they would ask for cards from people when they can just have one sent over but go for it. I don't think you get the block however.

well, this doesnt sound legit.

if alphacool wanted to do a custom waterblock, they'd just contact sapphire and they'd send them a few.

i have been thinking about that for quite some time and then realised that they send you the card with the block on it so that only means its hard to install but again what you said its very true and i think i will cool the card with air for some time then try again but i will still contact them about how much does it cost and how big the radiator is
