Yea, but its not cyan blue as the Corsair RAM or the PSU is, nor the same shade as the Vapor-X is tho, this matches very well. I wont OC so, I wont really stress the PC so I think it should do? Their higher-end boards are pretty good tho.

I don't think you will get a perfect match with the colours anyway, unless you start modding with something like Plastidip. I am not a fan of ASRock boards, but it is your build  :) Everything you have listed will work just fine.

I don't think you understand what hyperthreading is. Games use multithreading, and hyperthreading simulates 8 usable cores. You can see from the benchmarks too.

Play BF4 on an i7 and watch all 8 threads get used. This is why BF4 performs better with an i7 than an i5 that is overclocked.

PS most of the new 'demanding' games getting released can use over 4 cores, which is when an 8 thread i7 is beneficial for gaming.

Yea, cant get 100% but I'll try my best to do it. Also, trying to wait for OCUK replies and want to find out when they get a stock of some CM or Phanteks cases again, as if there is nothing tomorrow, I go with the 450D

I'm streaming every day, many AAA games, to entertain people and to get a hang of games that others are unable to play or want to see before they buy.

That is one example of how hyperthreading can be used for multitasking. Games can use multithreaded processes that take advantage of hyperthreading, for example BF4

BF4CPUUsage_zps25d12579.jpg

it uses ALL 8 threads and gives you a significant performance boost over an i5 with only 4 threads.

More and more games are beginning to use multithreading over 4 cores/threads, and in the next couple years there will be a ton of games that will take full advantage of an i7.

Take for example the new minecraft 1.8 update coming in the next couple months. It uses multithreaded processing to use not one, not two, not four, but EIGHT threads, and even more if your processor is a xeon. This is the way the future is headed, and the OP is right, an i5 will become a bottleneck.

I give up with you, you are just too dense to understand it.

Take a look at your thread you made (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/201489-people-please-stop-telling-people-not-to-get-the-4790k-for-gaming/page-2#entry2731676), Pretty much just 5 pages of people telling you that you do NOT need an i7 for gaming, and that an i5 is just as good when it comes to gaming.

I don't think you understand.

You do not need an i7 for gaming.

You can still play games with an i5 perfectly fine.

You will benefit in some games from having an i7 because of more threads.

In the future more and more games will take advantage of the extra threads.

For most people it is not worth the extra $100 for a couple more fps.

For the OP it is, because he doesn't want to be limited by the number of threads on his CPU for the next few years.

All I am saying is the the OPs decision to buy an i7 is justified because it does give more performance than an i5 in some games (soon to be more).

He can afford the extra $100 that will give him a couple more fps in the games that use more than 4 cores. Stop bashing his logical decisions and reasoning.
