Overclocking should only be done on a desktop machine.

Laptops are limited in their capabilities for various reasons - power being one, heat being another, and finally size. Since laptops are meant to be portable, the hardware is low powered, and relies on very small heatsinks/fans to keep it cool enough to operate. They have practically no room for overclocking, without any kind of modification made to keep them cooler, which would make it less portable. Which it would render the point of having a laptop invalid.

tl;dr Don't do it.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

Run Intel Burn Test and use something like RealTemp to monitor max temp. If its under 90C, then you in theory could try to overclock. But it will be hard as mobile CPUs don't have unlocked multipliers.
