Out of those 2, Windforce. Although the Tri-X, Vapor-X & MSI models are good too.

The Toxic 280x I tested was the best one of the lot, basically stick to the Sapphire ones and you will be just fine.

You would be pretty hard pressed to find a reference 280x these days, I havent seen one in my country in the last year or so.

Here is a comparison I did between the Dual-X 280x and Toxic 280x

  1. Sapphire Toxic
  2. Gigabyte Windforce OC

These are probably your best bett's, in terms of performance and cooling.

The Sapphire toxic is the best one..

The only thing that is sadd, is that there are no HiS cards that are getting reviews..

Cause i personaly have a good experiance with HiS cards.

But they seem to be very underated.

Saphire tri-x or vapor-x are the best. The windforce is also good. JUST DO NOT GET REFERENCE

First of all, anything besides the Hawaii Chips are okay with reference coolers.

Second, a reference R9 280X does not exist.

So within the next week or so im gonna be building my first gaming.

I have my mind set on an r9 280x, but i was wondering if i should go with the his turboboost

or the gigabyte windforce edition

Thanks:)

Sapphire is best, with Gigabyte in a distant 2nd. So out of those 2 I would go gigabyte I guess, but if you can pony up for the Tri-X. But whatever you decide DON'T BUY XFX!!!
