Luxury Case Decisions

spwath

I just read three pages of dumb arguments and useless discussion.

Still the in win looks great, the only gripe people seem to have with it, is that the case is so heavily focused around design that they "forgot" to make a builder friendly case.

Yeah ik...

The in win may be to much of a compramise for me IDK...

Do you have any plans on watercooling the case? Fractal Design arc midi, Phanteks, Caselabs and air 540 (i do not like lian li) is properly some of the best case manufacturs/cases out there (my opinion)

Hardware: Intel I7 4790K 4Ghz | Asus Maximus VII Hero Z97 | Gigabyte 780 Windforce OC | Noctua NH-U12P SE2 | Sandisk Extreme Pro 480GB | Seagate 500Gb 7200Rpm | Phanteks Enthoo Luxe | EVGA Supernova G2 850W | Noctua NF12 | SupremeFX 2014 | Patriot Viper 3 16GB.

Get the phanteks enthoo primo then. The pump placement in the back is really cool, so is the fan controller and all the options you have with the case :-)

Even if you decide not to do a custom watercooling loop the primo is still a great case.

Edit: I'm sounding like a total sellout to phanteks

Make a topic were the title is "calling out all enthoo primo owners" and ask them about that.

I'm going to sleep know, hopefully someone else can answer your question.

I'd go with the Enthoo Luxe, it looks stunning imo. I'm definitely going to be using it in my next build.

I'm that guy with the GPD Win.

like any other case on the mass-produced market.

plastic front panel with front intake panel (kinda complication filtering system),

inlay of thin, anodized aluminum. whole roof panel is plastic with a 65% mesh/filter.

5.25 bays are plastic.

like the front panel of the 750D and roof panel of the 900D.

LED trail is plastic runway track. again, just like most of the cases on the market

now. reason of the price point to make it affordable.

HDD sleds are plastic, HDD cages steel.

you are not wanting luxury, you are wanting eclectic. to get all-metal case narrows

the field down considerably. 90% of the Lian-Li case line up is all metal, 20% of the

Silverstone cases are all metal. other than specialty case like CaseLabs, XSPC,

Lil Devil or Mountain Mods where those are specialty cabinets for specific purposes.

if you are meaning luxuary as in big cases, seems the bigger the more ho-hum they

appear.

and with those Lian-Li or Silverstone, you will love 'em or not. doing any less obvious

in either makes for an experience most don't want to go through as each has their

own drawback.

Not necicarily all metal, but mostly, all panels metal.

The ft04 seems mostly metal, and the Lian Li's I said before

InWin 900 series, InWin S Frame (not in $250 range), and anything from CaseLabs.

I run my browser through NSA ports to make their illegal jobs easier. :P

Nope, cant  do it.

There is no perfect case...

The cases that look good are not functional,

The cases that are functional are cheaply made or dont look good,

There is nothing!!! Nothing!

Ive been looking, and watching reviews for ever.

The only case I really like that is functional is the Lian Li PC-v359 but idd need a new MB and CPU cooler.

OK, now i want a Luxury case. Get that. All metal, great build quality. Here are the options:

A: Entho Luxe. Priced at  150 USD, its nice and cheap, and RGB lights, yeah.

B: Entho Primo. 240 USD, brushed aluminum instead of sandblasted (looks better, but stains), lighting, large, nice.

C: Silverstone ft04. 230 USD, sandblasted aluminum, gorgues, front panel door with that great curve, look amazing!

D: Lian li PC-A76. 225 USD, all brushed aluminum, even sides. No window, so i would have to make one. Cool lock, but restricted. Lian Li PC-7HX

ELian Li PC-7HX. 125 USD, all brushed, even sides. No window, idd make one. Not restricted.

F Silverstone tj04-ew. 144 USD, brushed front, great looks.

G: Silverstone ft05, unkown price, hasnt come out. sandblasted, great cooling.

Now, i would like quality opinions. Not "ooh just get the corsair ---"

People that know quality cases. Such as @Faa and others.

Also, sugest any other avalible in US for under 250 USD

Are you looking for a case with features such as a window and lights or are you looking for an enclosure with a sleek aesthetic that screams quality? Wild shapes and curves or bold lines?

I want a window, and a nice aesthetic, not to crazy like my phantom 410, and metal. I really like the pc-v359 but my mb and CPU cooler to big. Also the in win 904 but CPU cooler too big

I'm personally a big fan of the FT-05, it might be my next case. At computex silverstone reps said the price will be $200.
