Shield Portable HELP!

So after upgrading to Windows 8.1 my streaming has become really annoying. (might just be a coincidence) But lately, every time i want to play any game, the first time i click, i get extremely laggy, choppy, and just horrible gameplay. Then after restarting both the PC and Shield and retrying, i get a black screen on the shield. But the PC still displays the game. My internet speed is 28mbps download, 5.something upload, and 21 ping. I get the same connection on both the PC and the shield. This is extremely annoying because any time i want to relax and play, i end up running to my PC annoyed. I hope someone here can help fix this, because i really dont want to go to the Geforce forums :P

Lol, well the router isn't the issue.

 

Plus, GameStream is not going off of your internet connection if you're playing on the same network, it's using the network speed of the router.

 

Sounds like the issue is either drivers or the connection between your PC and the router?

Thats what i thought... My PC is connected using wifi

well i guess Gamestream decided to connect again and now its smooth..

But its still annoying that theres an issue at all any time!
