Hey guys! I was wondering if you guys can recommend a RTS game that are like Warcraft 3,Starcraft 2 and Red Alert 3? Building structures, troops and etc :). Me and my little brother want to play RTS games together on our free time xD. If possible...an RTS game that we can play in offline :). So just incase our net service dies on us,we can play it :). Also,i already tried Company of Heroes, didn't like it that much though :(. So yeah :). Any recommendations? XD Thanks! :)

Civilization V is fun. Though the AI is annoying.

You can play offline, and through LAN. And perhaps on the same machine - though not too sure about that. I'll check for ya.

Just checked. You can play on the same network in Civilization V or you can use Hot Seat, which is on the same machine taking turns.

Age of Empires II HD edition, along with SC/2 probably the best RTS ever :D

Oh thanks :). I guess we'll really going to get Starcraft 2..but :(((. We need 2 CD's to play Starcraft 2 because we have 2 computers :(. and can SC2 play without internet? And there's an Age of Empire 3,whats that?

ok :) you are a shogun of a clan in feudal japan and you try to conquer the whole island

Ok...xD. Cool xD. Can you play without net? And can you install the game in 2 computers with one CD?

Well it mainly is WC3, SC and the Command and Conquer games.

Apart from that you have Total War and AOE which are great.

So i've heard XD. Thanks

Just checked. You can play on the same network in Civilization V or you can use Hot Seat, which is on the same machine taking turns.

Cool, even without internet? And can 1 Civ 5 CD be installed into 2 computers? XD

Yes. I believe if you use Steam with the same accounts linked, you can. If it's disc based, there should be no installation limits(though you'll probably need the disc to boot the game).

AoE 3 is bad =P

Age of Empires II HD edition, is a, for newer computers fixed, version of the original Age of Empires II, you can get it on steam. It's an old game, but really awesome, my brother a buddy and I sometimes play a single match for hours ^^

So if I use steam..i need to buy the game at steam? And if CD....we'll need the CD to run the game? That sucks :((. I thought games now don't need the CD to run the game anymore xD

Correct. Though the game may come with a Steam code. More and more games do. So you could give you brother the disc copy, and download the game through Steam for yourself.(if it works that way)

No lan support for SC2 unless you pirate it. Blizz refusing to give lan support in fear of piracy... Ironic how pirates create their own lan support, while Blizz doesn't want to give out lan support because of piracy ^^

So redundant. It's circular reasoning.
