Nope. If it can survive this then I highly doubt it.

Plastidip is a terrible way to go. A good paintjob requires a lot mere than a few coats of Plastidip.

I usually go through these four steps.

1. Sand or Scratch the surface, (Sandpaper, sandblast, Steel wool, etc...)

2. Primer. Use white for a light color, grey for darker and black for darkest. Primer does so much on a good paint job; it makes the paint stick longer and allows the colors to pop more.

3. Apply the proper paint. do light layers and wait 10mins to a few days between layers (depends on the paint). Don't use metal paint on plastics or vice-verse. Same applies to primer.

4. Clear-coat and/or sealant. This will not only ensure the life of your paint but can add a gloss or flat finish to the part.

The tough part about painting is all the research. You have to make sure everything will not only work but will look how you want it to look.

To be unbiased I have used Plastidip before. I even allowed it a few weeks to cure outside. It began to peel off my Ergo Dox with about a month of use. (It had the extended wrist wrest)

I paint nearly every one of my boards. The paint you use depends an the type of finish you want. A keyboard goes through some heavy use believe it or not. You want to have a good paintjob.

The amount of coats you put on has to do with the paint you use and the appearance you want.

What keyboard is it? I could give you some advice an how to paint it. I have probably pointed the same board myself.

The only thing I have found Plastidip good for was peeling it off so I would be able to RMA a product.

About 20 of my 29 boards are painted.
