Hi guys!
I changed my mobo, cpu, psu and gpu recently but i kept the same hard disk without formatting it. I built the pc and it runs fine so far, but a friend of mine told me that a format is needed. Is that true? I don't want to format cuz it's a lot of work..I run win7 32bit btw..

Format is sometimes if your changing... if not it can cause some conflicts and crashes with your drives. Yes its recommended to reformat

32bit Windows? You really should format.. What CPU were you running before the upgrade?

I basically have the same questions

If it were me I would reformat and start fresh. Just make sure you back up your stuff. ;)

cpu g550 to i3 3250........nvidia gt 610 to hd 7790........mobo: gigabyte to asus same socket 1155.........same ram 4gb

That was still 64bit.. Why did you installl 32bit? The keys work in both ones.

If it works alright, reinstall isn't needed. But as others, I would highly suggest installing 64bit system. It takes more out or 64bit cpus, even if your ram is just 4gb.
