Switch to haswell?

I plan on ordering my computer parts when haswell comes out and ive been thinking. Would it be worth going with haswell instead of the I-5 3570k. And how much would it effect price (Including getting a haswell ready motherboard)

Not worth it your CPU is already fast as hell.

The 3570K is still holding strong, though you may want to hold off until Haswell just in case you like one of the boards. Lots of companies are releasing new color schemes since they're running out of things to differentiate their board from another.

exactly, look for colour schemes and price, 3570k is still almost as good as the haswell equivalent, while gaming you probably wont even see a difference

Most likely, it will not be worth it. You will probably see the normal 10% speed increase, but the motherboards will cost more. So, you should probably just stick with the 3570k.

There are some leaked benchmarks floating around the forums, if those are true, at least with Intel chips, you wont have to upgrade in the next 10 years if the trend of not actually improving keeps going ^^

I have the Sandybridge 2500k at the moment and just recently bought myself the Asrock z77 extreme 4 for an excellent price ($114)

and was wondering....should I make the switch to 3570K? or just stick with my 2500K.  I can get 3570k for $169 

 

what would you guys recommend I should do??  I'm into gaming and I currently have the gtx 670 ftw edition.
