msi dust removal

i have the msi gtx 760 twin frozr edition they say that msi has a dust removal technology when the computer starts the gpu fans spin backwards for 30 sec to remove dust but i cant see that my gpu is doing this so is there a problem with my gpu or smthn

afaik its only on Power Edition cards.

I think it's nothing more than a fancy selling feature. Maybe your fans will spin backwards if they detect there is to much dust.

 

In any case wouldn't I be worried about the GPU because when you will clean your PC I would recommend cleaning your GPU as well. Dust won't kill it or anything.

im a bit afraid from dust but thats not the problem the problems is on msi.com they said the gtx 760 twin frozr has a dust removal technology and newegg channel said that  when they reviewed the card

I don't know anything of this feature. didn't even know it existed, however, I wouldn't be too concerned about it. The effectiveness of this feature would be marginal, at best. It's no substitute for an actual routine cleaning.
