PSU for 280x

Go to solution Solved by Archangel1994,

What about the VS650 i'ts more powerfull and cheaper?

Not necessarily more powerful, plus that extra 100W is wasted if you do not use it. The VS650 is cheaper because it isn't modular.

550W is really more than enough and the CS550M is gold, semi-modular and an overall good PSU.

I recently got a Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Vapor-X, and my old PSU is not powerfull enough to power the GPU while gaming (shitty LC Power 600 W). So i'm asking if I need 600W or is 500 W or 550 W enough. And if you can recommend me a good PSU for around 60-70 €. My full rig specs are in the sig.

If you dont intend to OC the 8320 then the CS550M from corsair will do just fine. Otherwise you can go with the CX600M or the EVGA Nex 650W

Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

80+ Gold, fully modular, 10 warranty. Should be about 65 EUR.
