I think something like a 770/760, but i'm not sure.

Non that you should be buying with that gpu. If you're going to get something like a 280x/290(x) or a 780(ti) get an 8350 or an i5. But with a budget that affords an r9 270 you'll be fine.

770 is the highest I would go with that chip and on the amd side the R9 280/x

I think if you OC 270 it'll bottleneck a bit

At stock it will struggle with more cpu taxing games with highest end / dual gpus when loads of stuff is happening on screen.

But it wont bottleneck to the point where cpu is running 100% and so throttle gpu to lower loads or load spikes / falls.

 

270x definitly wont be a problem
