Well, first big thing is it's phantom powered XLR, so you'll need something like a focusrite scarlet or a blue icicle to use it with your PC. Other then that, it's supposed to be fairly highly regarded in the audio fields, so it has that going for it.

So I got myself an Audio Technica AT2020 for my let's play channel but I'm still not perfectly happy. So I'm looking to get a better mic. I was looking at the Rode NT1 and I was wondering if that one is any good. It's definitely sexy tho. rode_nt1.JPG?width=1100&height=800&scale

I think it's a pretty good microphone. This person uses it.. (:

Like elecxonica you will need an Audio Interface like a focusrite scarlet and such

You must "Quote" to get my attention.

The question I have is why are you not happy?  While the rhode is an exceptional mic and usually stocked in many studios, for basic vocal work on a internet channels it could easily be considered overkill. Many of your listeners will probably not pick up on the change.

What is the rest of your setup like? what do you use for compression, preamp, is your 2020 the USB or XLR variant?
