The PC as-is will be good for decent game play, but if you wish to get a separate GPU then don't get an A8, get an Athlon 750K

What's your budget and where are you at? This will help us with suggesting "better" parts.

Your build is fine, but if you're going to use a separate GPU, get an Athlon 750k. It's the same as the A8 as a CPU, but it doesn't have the GPU cores. This means a lower cost for effectively the same part.
