You will need

Cover block for your GPU

New Tubing

New coolant

Fittings

optionally an extra radiator (would recommend getting at least another 120 mm radiator)

That's about it. What you will keep from the 220X is essentially the CPU block and that radiator/reservoir/pump combo.

Somebody come up with a more concrete plan, i am not an expert either.

who cares...

That is actually pretty solid.

Going to be tough to find a block.

Also, I don't really know how good you card is but what CPU are you running? Is it really worth it to spend $300 on your system for cooling when that could go towards upgrades?

Frozen CPU may, they have some older blocks.

Very true words!

@niels1996 I don't mean to sound rude But the 6970 is a strongly aging card. If your CPU is anything as old as that, you may be better off to spend that money somewhere else (e.g. new graphics card). Also: do you already have the 220X or is this all here just hypothetical?

Please post your complete system specs - most of all CPU, motherboard, case, power supply - so we can help you properly.
