Geforce 220

Hey gyus i have recently put an GT 220 in a mobo ASUS Z87-K with the latest bios inside her. The point is that with GPU in the pc the monitor doesn't start up. But when i put the GPU out the monitor starts up. I can't put the drivers cause of that problem. Do you believe that if I put the drivers without the GPU will my pc start up with the GPU inside the mobo?

plug monitor into motherboard?? get drivers and install then try gpu

Yes i ve put the cable at the gpu.

I have plug the gpu also inside the mobo.

I dont know where to find the iGPU

^This, I think you plugged in your monitor into your mobo, and not the GPU...

Honestly how much of an increase could a GT 220 possibly be over Haswell Intel HD Graphics

Did you put the monitor cable in the GPU and not in the mobo..?

this is a very common mistake

Not too much difference but it gave it to me my best friend.

Was it working for your friend before he gave it to you?

If it's fanless, then I don't know how you know whether it's dead or not.

 

Just check to see if it's even working.

And it has fan so that how i know that is not dead the is up and running

Try putting graphics card into the computer but plug monitor into motherboard and see if you get anything on the display.
